Combining & carting
We have a Claas Lexion 550 combine with 7.5m header. It is a straw walker machine for a good balance between grain sample and straw quality. We can offer combining only or a combine and cart service if required using two Larrington 14 tonne trailers.
Drilling
We have a wide range of cultivation equipment ranging from deep soil loosening to surface cultivation & trash incorporation. Our Lemken Solitair 9 5m combination power harrow and drill features double disc coulters for excellent seed placement and is capable of covering large acreages in the right conditions.
Fertiliser spreading
We have a Kverneland Exacta TL fertiliser spreader capable of spreading a wide range of high quality fertilisers to 36 metres. It has on board weigh cells to ensure the accuracy of the application, and when linked to our Topcon X30 system is capable of variable rate applications based on GPS map data.
Spraying
We use a trailed Knight sprayer for applying crop protection products. It has a 4000 litre tank, 30m booms, auto boom height control and auto section control. It can spray at 12m, 24m, 28m and 30m widths. We have a range of nozzle types depending on the job, target and weather conditions. Our Stocks twin slug pellet applicator mounted on the front of the tractor can spread to 36m.
Grain storage
We have two large grain stores on the farm. We can store approximately 800 tonnes in our older store which has on floor plastic ducts for drying. Our newer grain store has a purpose built drying floor and can store up to 1100 tonnes. Both stores are maintained to high standards and can dry all grain types quickly and efficiently for long term storage.
